Mrs. Mona L. Gardner, 90, a former grocery operator at Crawfordsville, died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Janice Foxworthy, 2014 N. Bosart St., Indianapolis, where she was making her home. Mrs. Gardner owned and operated a grocery here for 15 years. She was employed at Shaw Locker Plant for six years, retiring in 1963. She had lived at Indianapolis the last 18 years. Mrs. Gardner was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church. Born at Ladoga, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Ryan. She was married to Warren B. Gardner, who died in 1936. Surviving with the daughter are two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Little Flower Catholic Church at Indianapolis with burial in Russellville Cemetery. Friends may call at Shirley Brothers Funeral Home, Drexell Chapel, 4565 E. 10th St., Indianapolis, after 4 p.m. Tuesday. – jlr
